St. Charles Engagement Photography: Audrey & Paul

I'm super excited to be introducing Audrey, Paul and Jaime (correct spelling?) to the blog.
This session was a combined engagement and family session. I'm so excited to be documenting the wedding of Audrey & Paul next Spring.
But first....take a look at all the cuteness I will get to photograph again.

Aren't they sweet! I love this.

It was a really, really windy day when we went out for the session but somehow Audrey & Paul just worked it for me.

St. Louis Engagement Photography: Heather & Ross

Had an incredibly fun session with Heather and Ross.
We wandered around at some of their favorite areas of town and had a great time getting to know one another.

The light was just about perfect here.

They are a really fun couple. I love the facial expressions!

Gorgeous setting right?!?!
Photobucket

One of my faves.
Photobucket

Again, the beautiful light. Cute couple too!

Ross jokingly said, "Hey, let's stand by the construction area. That would make a great picture!" I think he was just kidding around but the surprise was on him because I totally agreed that it would make a cute shot. I thought that in my head just as he voiced the thought out load. Ha ha!

I SOOOOOOOO LOOOOOOOVE her Anthropologie dress.

Announcement of the Emergency Broadcast System.....Sort of

Evidently, if you are trying to reach me at my email of "von@vondevorephotography.com".....you can't.

My server (hosted at bludomain.com) is down. I'm guessing that it will be back to normal in the next 24-48 hours. I don't know for sure since they didn't send out any kind of announcement to all of their clients. I just had to dig for an answer and noticed some announcement on their blog about a new site change that's taking place today.

Soooo, if you need to get a hold of my, please call me at (314) 922-1612.

***UPDATE: The problem was not with my server per se...my computer was evidently being blocked...ME getting to MY OWN website was blocked. How crazy is that? Anyway, Bludomain took care of me and now my email should be back to working. Yeah! ***

The Brown Family

I am beyond honored when a fellow photographer asks me to photograph their family. Especially when said photographer, Brandi Brown, is a photographer extraordinaire herself.
Just a few of my favorites from the session.

Photobucket

This shot below was totally Brandi's idea. See....when you work with another artist, they are sooo artistic and have vision! So much fun.
Photobucket

I love this shot below because I wanted to convey the sense of energy in this family. With four little ones, there's always something going on.

Brandi is VERY spunky and full of energy and just FUN. I think that's why we get along so well.

Thank you, Brandi & Tom, for letting me spend the day with your family!

St. Francis Xavier Wedding Photography and Four Seasons St. Louis Reception: Kristin and Mike

The bride had the most amazing blue Manolo's!
I had to take a moment and just drool.
Seriously oooohing and aahing from this shoe loving girl. See what I mean?

Photobucket

And then I saw the dress. OH MY WORD!!!!
LOVE!!!!!
Photobucket

Everything about the day was flawless!
Photobucket

After all the primping and prepping, everyone headed over to St. Francis Xavier for the ceremony.
I love that moment between the bride and dad just before she walks down the aisle. Thanks to my 2nd shooter, Sharon, for capturing these images. That's one of the advantages of having 2 shooters covering your wedding....you won't miss moments like this one below.

....or this one either.
