A Great Present

Are you having a hard time figuring out something to give as a gift to the person that has everything? How about memories? Beautiful pictures of the family.

Well, sometime back, two thoughtful, wonderful kids (Abby and Allen) gave their parents portraits of themselves for their parents anniversary gift. We had to secretly arrange to do the shoot but it was all worth it! Their parents LOVED their gift and told me so again and again. I was tickled pink that I could do this for them...(and thanks to Kim R. for suggesting to Abby that she should have them done).

Great Venue...St. Albans

In my previous post, I mentioned how much I enjoyed shooting at St. Albans (with Alisha Clark) for a wedding.

Look at these and you'll see why...

There's a couple of different places in St. Albans. This particular spot was The Studio Inn. Check it out if you're looking for a place for your ceremony and reception.

And if you're thinking of having your ceremony/reception there, give me a call. I would love to shoot another wedding at St. Albans.

Married: Katrina & Jesse at St. Albans

A while back, I had the pleasure of shooting with Alisha again...but this time we were at St. Albans...for a wedding of a friend of Alisha's, Katrina. The wedding was simply amazing. Beautiful day, beautiful bride, beautiful location. I was pretty impressed. Her colors were hot pink and lime green. I loved the colors! I loved the location...which was The Studio Inn at St. Albans. Nice!

Katrina had great shoes! I love this trend of a bright shoe for the bride. I've even seen the more adventureous brides having their girls all wearing different color shoes when the dresses are all the same color...for instance, black...but non-matching, then adding a pop of color with the shoes. Love the idea!

Don't you just love their expressions?

So sweet!

Here are Jesse and his guys just chillin' in the "man cave" as they said....and enjoying themselves while waiting for the party to get started.

Thanks to Alisha for having me along!

Lisa of Belli Fiori

I had the pleasure of spending a great afternoon with an awesome florist. So if any of you brides out there are needing a fantastic florist, give Lisa Gallagher of Belli Fiori a call. Tell her I sent you and she'll take good care of you.

Lisa's shop is down on The Hill. Such a quaint area. Lisa and I chatted for a while and we of course took some pictures.
Amazing eyes, right?

These were taken right outside her shop. I love alleys! One of my favorite places for pictures.

The reflection off the snow was almost blinding but it gave her skin a glow...don't you think?

Sultry eyes...very mysterious I think.
